The Rule of Man, Not Law

On several occasions (the most recent) I have discussed the abandonment of our Constitution and its principles as leading to the inevitable economic mess we now confront. As an example of how the Constitution no longer matters, at least in the eyes of the ruling class, the following article from the American Thinker is offered. Remember, these people all took an oath to uphold the Constitution. Have they even read it? If so, apparently it is considered nothing more than an inconvenient artifact that should not stand in their way for “improving” the world. John Adams warned: “A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.”
