Things are getting really bizarre. Last night before sleeping, I read a little "Atlas Shrugged" and (spoiler!) found out that Mr. Mouch had ordered all holders of Taggart stocks and bonds to forego interest payments to make capacities available for TT to fulfill their national duties. Furthermore, I learned that government had taken over numerous businesses and resources for the sake of solving a "national emergency".

Today I wake up and turn on the news channel. I learn some concerned experts are demanding that Mercedes stockholders forego dividends to aid economic recovery. I hear the government has no inhibitions concerning the expropriation of stockholders of failing businesses for the sake of solving a "systemic emergency".

What is this? A bad screen adaption by the Reichstag drama club?
