I almost thought I found a second dutch Austrian. I was mistaken, badly. Just another northern commie.
Here we see good ole' Rob petitioning for even more social housing, even though this is the single reason it is virtually impossible for me to find a normal house in this country. The waiting line to even have a chance of to rent such a house is over 4 years! moreover, the private sector in housing has been badly damaged by the governement as well. Entrepeneurs are deterred from investing in affordable housing by governmentally enforced maximum rents, and by local bureaucrats that dont allow anyone to build anything anywhere because of zoning laws.
The housing market is a total mess. The intervention is damaging the market.
