What is the pronunciation for "catallaxy" ?

?:  like the cars "cadillacs" plus "ee"  ==>>   CATTLE-ack-see

?:  rhyme with "galaxy"   ==>>   k(a)-TAL-ik-see

or maybe something I didn't think of yet?

Mama  - thx for the new word of the day.

While I'm not certain, I'd assume it is close to no. 2

Catallaxy describes, according to Hayek ‘the order brought about by the mutual adjustment of many individual economies in a market’.

I got three answers in the past three days, and they all agreed.

My friend the world traveler and translator of several languages guessed that #1 would be the best choice.

My friend the Greek and Latin teacher gave independent confirmation.

The admin of Catallaxy.org on facebook said it rhymed with prophylaxy (like # 1 above).

Whew!!  Glad that's put to bed.
