And if it wasn't for labor laws and over regulation, the sexist managers would see the same thing here as successful managers hired women over men as their pay is less.  Of course the markets for labor tend to work out issues with race, gender, religious affilation, ect. peacefully while the do-gooders of the world use the hammer to government to resolve conflicts where there need not be any.

In the USA, women without children make more than their male counterparts at equivalent positions.  It is the do-gooders who do not believe it and believe instead that all women or any other minority is a helpless victim uncapable of making their own decisions.

Since we don't have free markets ,in some sense to some degree employers are protected from suffering from loss of profit due to discrimination because of state reduction of competition and corporatism.

I don't really want to comment or read anything here.I have near zero in common with many of you.I may return periodically when there's something you need to know.

Near Mutualist/Libertarian Socialist.

The racists, homophobes, sexists, etc have no better friend than the regulator.  There are lots of regulations that make the cost of being one of these things zero.  The worst of all is Minimum Wage which is as far as I can tell, an assault on the free exercise of contract by minorities.  This is especially true for Black and Hispanic men.  The law forces these minorities to work in the black market or have to compete with non-minorities for the same job when the minority person would accept less.
