Find a single political party that wants to abolish all rules and rule-making... if there has been one in the history of democracy. In every election without fail, 99% of eligible voters don't vote in favor of substituting the government for permanent chaos. In other words, democracy is 99% obsolete. No one is forced to vote, therefore 99% of people are willing to voluntarily defend and abide by a system of rules in the absence of the state.

In a given society, there may be a temporary riot or two, but this will always give way to a prevailing order. Even the 1% of thieves and murderers will soon have an imperative of changing their behavior to blend in with the prevailing system of rules. For example, there is no point in going downtown to redistribute the wealth of other people if I live in a society that doesn't respect property rights! Assuming were all closet thieves, everyone may try to do this initially, but it is always in their long-term interest to establish a system of rules they can at least pretend to follow. In order for stealing to be profitable, property rights have to exist in order to sell off the loot. Similarly, there is no point in going downtown to kill people if the moment I step outside, someone blows my head off. Assuming we're all closet murderers, we'll all be thinking this exact same thing. Because of the survival instinct, we would all be compelled to establish a system of rules that we can at least pretend to follow, so that literal back-stabbing can take place.

Under anarchy - just like under democracy, at least 99% of people will openly support the right to life and property, but in the absence of anonymous ballot paper, there is no opportunity for (easily, secretly and without repercussions to oneself) creating a legal provision for theft or murder. Now we just have to deal with this 1% of thieves and murderers - who are working alongside us anonymously to establish a set of rules! This is because the thieves need to protect their stolen loot, and murderers need to protect themselves from harm.

Now what is the most economically advantageous system of rules for the 1%? You guessed it. Two distinct sets of rules, one for the ruling/parasite class and one for the commoners. The most efficient mechanism of predation; of stealing whilst maintaining a system of property rights; and of murdering whilst maintaining the 'right to life' principle; is by creating a ruling class distinct from the commoners that has the legal provision to commit theft and murder. Of course, this system would go to the greatest lengths to ensure the commoners remain oblivious about the nature of these provisions - and boy, is it bloody successful at that. The moment the mafia don puts a crown on his head, at worst, everyone falls down and kisses his shoes; at best, everyone calls his extortion a necessary evil. Think of all the non-democratic states today, which are much more visible as the organized gangs that they are, and yet their "citizens" are completely oblivious. How much mind-fucking do you have to do in order for people to never make this connection..?

So just to be absolutely clear, all we have to fear is the current system of illusory predation. What an unbelievably successful predator it is.
