This earthquake and tsunami were all they needed to beat the doldrums of the last two decades.  Right?  All those broken  windows will spur the economy on, right?

Those lucky Japanese.

Somewhat unrelated, but I saw that California was under a tsunami warning and that Obama was "ready to send FEMA" if they are needed.  I thought to myself, if i was living in California would I be more afraid of the potential tsunami or knowing that if this tsunami does hit that FEMA will be coming to "save the day."

The BBC was saying this was going to help Japans economy, and they can't be biased cause they work for the government!

Yeah, that funny Broken window fallacy... Never knew it could be applied to the case of tsunami.
