The fact that the cable and phone companies already have lines to your house doesn't mean Google won't happly dig a new one.  Market > net neutrality.

It's news like this which makes me feel that the market will eventually replace the government without political action through pure superiority (in the same way that atheistic beliefs will replace religious ones). cheeky

Market > net neutrality.

I am not sure this project is not political (meaning subsidized from more successful projects, without hope to ever recover investment).

Let's say you want to expand your market to a particular location, but that location has no way of getting your product or service, or at least maybe not efficiently get it. You may decide that it would be worth your investment to provide a way of access for that potential new market, even if you may not recover the investment directly from that method of access.

The state IS the most superior agency in a given area. Thats why it dominates in the first place, because it crushes all competition. Competition of exploitation that is, but competition nontheless.

April's fool?

The state is not the enemy. The idea of the state is.

This stuff contributes nothing to the discussion.  That's not acceptable.

Superior due to violence, not due to competition.
