Let’s see… He more than tripled the U.S. presence in Vietnam. No change there (despite the rantings of Oliver Stone). Johnson’s vast expansion of the welfare state might have been put off for a few more years, but since subsidizing poverty has supplied the Democrats with their primary voting block, I’m sure it would have come about eventually. JFK’s name doesn’t appear on the CFR’s membership list, but since he claimed to be a member anyway, I’m sure he would have followed their policies. The only good thing I see is that the Kennedys would not be able to lay their guilt trip on America.
