Came across this after watching a Raising the Bar episode where a prosecutor argued against jury nullification because white supremacists in the South at one time used it to get lynchers acquitted. That did happen, but that's one example compared to the many examples of where it has been used to check the misapplication and abuse of the law by prosecutors and police.

I doubt he actually believes it, that kind of rhetoric just works with a certain segment of the population. He got a nice scam and earns a lot of money. I can follow his logic though. He thinks thinks civil liberties are imposed by the federal government. So being for states rights or individual liberty is anti civil liberties. Meaning he's a nationalist and a socialist; these people are literally national socialists.
