On a general note I would like to ask what the procedure for proposing speakers to Mises Institute events is. I do however have one specific person in mind.

Recently Prof Koos Malan released a book relating to political science. It deals with the issue of (ethnic) minorities versus the (democratic) state. The content of the book as well as the ideas of Prof Koos Malan may be of interest to the audiences of the Mises institute and Libertarians or state critiques in general. He would be a possible speaker.

* Speakers has a staunch academic background.
* Speaker is Prof in Public Law
* Speaker is author of book: Politocracy
* Themes minorities versus the (democratic) state.

What would be the procedure to get this speaker on a meeting or conference.

I am willing to provide more information and I have also more speakers in mind to suggest.

I'm not sure that there's a formal process, but I would start by emailing a few folks to ask around...

Kristy Holmes - Conference Coordinator
kristy@mises.com

Douglas French - President
french@mises.com

Jeffrey Tucker - Editorial Vice President
tucker@mises.com

You might try them in that order.  Let us know if you don't get a response...

I think I should prepare letters for them and then see how it goes. I'd have ideas for conferences as well. So thank you for the information.
