Hey guys, I'm writing a short paper on modern Austrian (as in the country Austria) economic policy, i.e. after regaining sovereignty in 1955 up until today. I would like to read something from an "Austrian" (as in the school) perspective, because I'm getting kind of sick of the mainstream idolizing of the long serving chancellor socialist Kreisky, who famously bragged about losing sleep over unemployment, but not over debt. While I've been able to find some wonderful articles on the West German economic "miracle" in issues of the Freeman from the 50's that sound as relevant as the day they were written, searching for the term Austria (and meaning the country) on mises.org doesn't really help much. So if anyone should have a suggestion I would be very, very grateful, anything in English or German will do. Thanks in advance Regards, Kalin

Just a technical note. Most websites have search engines vastly inferior to Google. Maybe going to Google and trying

"site:mises.org Austria" [without the quotes] will dig up something.

I wish I had something in mind to help, but Dave has probably the best suggestion.  It will be a little tough looking for an "Austrian economis" analysis of the Austrian economy.  But this did remind me of this:

Who Cares about Austria’s economy?

Oh it would go viral, no question.

I think with the results of the Keynes/Hayek battles and the fact that a love song to Hayek (not even the Salma one) has had over 80k hits, we've seen there is a strong Austrian presence on the web, and they'll eat up anything that is remotely funny/interesting and has to do with AE.  I guarantee if that video surfaced it would make the rounds on all the blogs.
