Video on this page.

The Feds are monitoring...the FED.  Hopefully people will buck up in the future and stand up to those doofus police officers.

The UK riots just shows that police are not prepared to defend private property and pick the perfect time to hide behind political correctness. But when it is an organised protest against the banker bailout, then we see several thousand police in full riot gear performing as minions of the establishment. You can barely fart in the UK without a helicopter being deployed, they expect us to believe that the looters caught them by surprise. Very dodgy indeed.

But then I must ask the question, would have private police stood their ground against 100s of violent looters? Maybe not, but i definitely think that the idea that the property owner might be waiting behind the metal shutters with a shotgun in his hand would have been a deterrent enough to prevent it. But then the argument would be that the rioters might have had automatic weapons if guns were legal. It is definitely a tough hypothetical question.

A combination of factors contributed to the London riot.

1) the killing of a high up London gang member.
2) general anger against the police, CCTV, police state, stop and search, drug war
3) communication technology and the coordination
4) government police and lack of willingness to protect private property
5) complete removal of the right to protect ones property
6) most of looting was done at night when the property owners were not present.

The rest of the world they protest against tyrannical governments, in the uk they protest for more government and they loot and riot for fun and nikes and iphones.
