Paul Krugman's "Phony Fear Factor"

Mr. Krugman, as usual, blames his disconnect with reality on his opponents who are, at least, giving lip service to opposing his failing Keynesian policies.

Reading this article reminded me, for some reason, of President Obama's rhetoric concerning the new budget - how Congress must "put politics aside" and pass the bill for "the good of the nation".  His speach implies that a person who opposes on principle; the imposition of more regulation, more distortion of the market through government spending, more distribution of monopoly privilege, etc. is an enemy of "the nation" and must be destroyed. 

Things just get more and more like 1984 every day.
