I can tell what kind of guy this judge in just 10 seconds of his conversation. You know the type.

Bummer.
Maybe the issue is that she is going to school full time and trying to work part time? if she drops out and focuses on work then she could probably take the rest of highschool at night one class at a time and be able to handle her working schedule.
And the other reason is of course that the educational-criminal complex is insane.
Bogart:Maybe the issue is that she is going to school full time and trying to work part time full time and a half?

(She has a full time job and a part time job. And full time school.)
That was a large reason I posted it.
Shows you the true nature of government school. It's actually prison. You only get to stay out of the "bad part" by keeping in the good graces of those that run the "good part". I wonder what this judge would think of the fact that I never attended school (public or private) from 6th through 12th grades.
On a wider note, I want to say that the fact that government school is prison (notice, no metaphor or simile here, it is prison) is actually conditioning the youngsters for the wider world which is also prison. How is it prison? Because if you don't pay your taxes, that's where you go. Each year, you are on your way to prison until you save yourself by filing that confessional form with the IRS, aka 1040. And then the serfs gleefully argue that they need to be imprisoned and enslaved because otherwise "who would pave the roads???" Yeah, brilliant.

Were you home-schooled?
Yes.
Well, according to this, you and your family might've run into trouble in Texas until after 1987.
As of current, home schooling is recognized as a form of private school exemption under section 25.086 of the compulsory education mandate in that state.
Well, I'm in OR not TX but yeah, I was just speaking rhetorically.
