Discusses how libertarians are pro-market, not pro-corporations.
He might be an AnCap.
Wow, that's an incredible article, just sent it to my Dad.
I'm pretty sure if you send that to any anti-corporate leftist, their liberhate-o-meter will drop some...probably.
These are the sort of articles I need for LibertyHQ. Bits of knowledge that will make the cognitive dissonance go whack.
"Corporations of creatures of the state" - "in a libertarian society they wouldn't exist"
seriously? Anyone else think that? I think that's crazy talk
his resume includes
How do corporations come into existence? Agents of collective legal "rights" is all they are.
Grant, it's a generally accepted statement here. LLC as it exists is a creation of the state.
Well that's because we live in a statist society. There would still be corporation for insurance purposes and free market legal stuff.
and now I understand where he is coming from. Definition disagreement
"Corporation" in terms of a group of people is all that it means.
There would still be some companies that are formed as corporations are today, but I'd venture to say that most management and investment schemes would be different.
Great Article...One observation:
While I doubt this is the fault of the author and probably of the Washington Times, it is a bit ironic that you read such an amazing and succinct piece like this only to be greeted with an imposing placard at the end of it, claiming, "This article is the copyrighted property of the writer and Communities @ WashingtonTimes.com. Written permissionmust be obtained before reprint in online or print media. REPRINTING TWTC CONTENT WITHOUT PERMISSION AND/OR PAYMENT IS THEFT AND PUNISHABLE BY LAW." Were the CAPS really necessary?
Reading this was like consuming an incredible meal, only to have the dessert leave a terrible taste in my mouth.
But...Props to Wheylous for posting. I will def. be forwarding this to some new liberal friends of mine, as well as a few others. Thanks!
