To begin with, I will plug my work in progress, LibertyHQ. Here is the "Get Educated" page, the one which I am most focused on developing at the moment:
http://candlemind.com/projects/progclub/file/michael/educate.php
Specifically, the "Issues in Libertopia" is the most developed section and updating almost daily. Check back for updates and you can already start using it as a resource for articles on specific topics!
I also very much welcome ideas for websites which to include.
This pic should fit better:
From skimming this article (http://online.barrons.com/article/SB50001424053111903904904577615361581700788.html?mod=googlenews_barrons) I am to understand that the GOP is looking to a VAT. My question is why the heck almost all Republicans focus so much on cutting taxes before actually cutting expenses? In this regard, Ron Paul stands far apart from them. He always talks spending cuts. His tax plan is a natural follow-up to the spending cut - just bring those taxes down. People don't realize that if we have tax cuts without spending cuts it's just gonna go to the deficit and the interest thereof.

Also, I think some of you guys might dig this

Loads of infographs on just about everything
Some are really useful (in the lifehackers sort of way) and some are garbage (the economics section)
They've outdone themselves:

Wheylous, that is so freakin' awesome!!

I added the source for the above.
Also, this one is funny:
From EPJ:
Here's a great example of how people think government planning is required. But take away the government control and it is absolutely amazing how much better things are.
If I had a cake and ate it, it can be concluded that I do not have it anymore. HHH
Fascinating. There might, of course, be some room for a few traffic lights, but I'm glad that other alternatives are being considered. And if the roads were private, we'd be seeing a lot more innovation.
I would swear Wenzel posted on this kind of thing before. Actually, he did less than a month ago...and that's not even the one I was thinking about. Neither is this one from four years ago.
Either way, I definitely remember Stossel going over this in multiple episodes of his program. Here's one:
Good summary of this campaign season:
Does their SEO score drop if they use "was" in the title?
Let's see if I can figure out what it is that they are saying:
[The f]arm tenant [that was] arrested after burglars [were] shot was 'plagued by break-ins'
To paraphrase Marc Faber: We're all doomed, but that doesn't mean that we can't make money in the process. Rabbi Lapin: "Let's make bricks!" Stephan Kinsella: "Say you and I both want to make a German chocolate cake."
They are British. Obviously they are above good grammar.
A friend of mine just showed me this video. I don't think it's been posted on the forums before:

any idea what this is about?

Wheylous?
Just because my avatar is the logo of an ex-hacker group, it doesn't mean I stay in touch with the hacker world ;)
Exactly what you'd expect a hacker to say.
;D But serious, I do not keep up with any tech news.
Do you "stay in touch" with the hacker world?
Nope. I hear any hacker-related stuff either from the Yahoo homepage or the Reddit homepage.

This is a shot in the dark, but someone posted a video on here a long time ago. It was a youtube animated short about a guy who took a fishing trip and was then stalked by forest gnomes. The Shining music and ambience was used. He makes some other videos where the characters don't say anything, but shout like monkeys.
Does anyone remember any of the names of the videos or the youtube account on which they might be found?
