"Economics is the pith of life," said Mises, and that's an idea that the Mises Institute embraces. This new forum is capable of covering the full range of issues summed up in the Austrian conception of economics.

"Pith of life?" I thought it was the "pith of civilization."
"Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break into pieces."—Étienne de la Boétie, Discourse of Voluntary Servitude

Very nice, looking forward to it.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Like the new site, although I'm sad to see that you all choose a system that is so heavily reliant on Windows . . . I hope you don't regret that in the future. Looking forward to using the site's new features more!
"To take a man's property without his consent, and then to infer his consent because he attempts, by voting, to prevent that property from being used to his injury, is a very insufficient proof of his consent to support the Constitution. It is, in fact, no proof at all." -- Lysander Spooner

Awesome new design. Very Web 2.0 in the good way.

The interactivity is great too since it encourages a higher degree of learning and such.

Keep it up!
