Thanks.  Are we using "quick reply" until further notice?  I can't get normal reply to work at all.

Reply doesn't work for me on Opera, but it works on backup browser (FF).

"I haven't been able to quote posts besides manually."

Same here.

At most, I think only 5% of the adult population would need to stop cooperating to have real change.

I have a request:  Can someone please tell us when the forum system will return to normal?  Are we stuck using "quick reply" and manual copying / pasting, etc?  Is this how the forum is going to work from here on out?  What is going on?  Update?  I assume the problem is being worked on, but with no feedback, I'm beginning to wonder if this is how the system is going to be.

Respectfully submitted.  Thanks.

me:

You can still type in

    quote user="username"

inside [brackets] then the quote then "/quote" in brackets.

Also there is a convenient new quote button above the font and size dropdown with a " icon.

Yeah it is a bit annoying to have to do this, probably only temporarily, but the new button for when people give you multi-quote bombs and you don't need their name there makes up for it.

The main thing I don't like about CK Editor is that it breaks the right click nav for Lazarus plugin for FF as well as spellchecking.

The quoting is indeed broken but the reply functionality works fine for me.  What problem are you having?

I type here, but the preview does not work, and the words I type do not appear.  Only my signature line appears.

OK, I got it.  I'll copy and paste the quote, then add the html.  Some folks (me) aren't as quick as others when it comes to this stuff...[EDIT: much happier now.]

First, copy and paste what you are trying to quote:

Can someone explain how to use the quote feature?

Second, place " [ q u o t e   u s e r = " u s e r n a m e " ] " above what you are trying to quote and " [ / q u o t e ] " below:

[ q u o t e   u s e r = " u s e r n a m e " ]

C a n   s o m e o n e   e x p l a i n   h o w   t o   u s e   t h e   q u o t e   f e a t u r e ?

[ / q u o t e ]

Except, of course, without all of the spaces:

If I wrote it more than a few weeks ago, I probably hate it by now.
