I'm not at this point going to give a defence of it but to give give a link to a rather extensive site dedicated to do it. http://vftonline.org/VFTfiles/thesis/summary01.htm This should be of interest to an Christians and any anarchist who believe Christian Anarchism to be untenable. Unfortunately they are Calvinists but of the stuff I've read so far it looks very interesting.

 Yeah, I've seen this site and I use it extensively. It is very well done.  There are some things I disagree with this person on, though. While I am a Calvinist, I'm not near as strongly theonomic as this person is. He's a pacifist too, which I am not.

 

But there is one section where he takes on Gary North about the Biblical justification for civil government and I think he does an outstanding job at it.
