Hello all,
I'm curious who's planning on making it out to Los Angeles for this year's Libertopia conference, taking place Oct 15 through Oct 17. I live in Southern California so I'm probably going to make it.
It looks like there will be some good speakers...the conference should be some good fun.
Link, please.
To paraphrase Marc Faber: We're all doomed, but that doesn't mean that we can't make money in the process. Rabbi Lapin: "Let's make bricks!" Stephan Kinsella: "Say you and I both want to make a German chocolate cake."

Gah, I'm tempted to go to see Stefan Molyneux, but at the same time my innate dislike for Universal Studios makes me skeptical. I'll consider it.
If I can save up the $75 (and find my student ID) plus the cost for a hotel (which I will prob. try to split), I will be there.
I'm going.
Several others from the Freedomain Radio forums have expressed interest in going.
The only one I have interest in seeing is Roderick Long's lecture. The rest of the speakers seem like Reason-Magazine libertarians which is something I can certainly miss.

I don't think you looked very closely. David Beito, Bruce Benson, David Friedman, Gary Chartier, Spencer MacCallum, Sheldon Richman, Butler Shaffer, Edward Stringham, Brad Spangler... there are some pretty radical anarchists attending.
If I had the money, I might check this out. But I don't, so I won't.
