ok, well at least your distaste is aimed at the right thing, and not at mere scientist/technicians/engineers/entrepreneurs looking to nature for ideas.
Where there is no property there is no justice; a proposition as certain as any demonstration in Euclid
Fools! not to see that what they madly desire would be a calamity to them as no hands but their own could bring
nirgrahamUK, of course I have no problem with looking at nature to design stuff, if private business should find it useful to do so. But the part of the video I saw was where he talked about how it's "crucial" that "we" create a solar economy.

EmperorNero:"I liked freedom before it was cool." Hehehe, nice. Why a picture of Tunisia and glasses?
Tunisia was technically the country that sparked the revolution(s) and protests in various middle east countries. People usually point to Egypt as the spark, but Tunisia had their little uprising before that. Hence, they "liked freedom before it was cool," it before it became a huge issue. And the glasses are just a symbol for "cool" I guess.
It's a hipster meme. Basically, hipsters will be all into something (a band, for example) when it is "underground" and not that popular. Eventually, the thing becomes mainstream and the hipster is all like, "I liked so-and-so before it was cool." It's a street cred thing... or something.
Conservation and Property Rights (by Murray N. Rothbard)
1,000 libertarians moved to New Hampshire out of a population of 1,000,000; 0.1%. Not looking very impressive at this point.

Thanks Nielsio for you contributions! Watched a couple of the vids over dinner, really liked the conformity video =)
Jan Helfeld gives us another episode of political doublethink.
Jan Helfeld has a freaky style some times in his interviews. He would keep repeating the same question over and over, even after the interviewee has frankly told him that he or she has no interest in answering the question. It's like a very creep kind of interrogation.
Jan Helfeld: Is a person justified in initiating force against someone who has not used force?
Bernie Sanders: I have told you five times I don't want to answer it.

Whatever you are proposing it is not capitalism. The proper name for what you purpose is not 'corporations', but street gangs, who fund their business through extortion of their victims (which you would call 'customers'). Government is an agency with a monopoly on the power to legally use force in a specific geographic area. What you purpose are multiple agencies (what you incorrectly accuse to be private corporations) in the same geographic area, that have the power to use force subject to no rule of law: anarchism.

These low content threads can become a bit of a heavy load. Maybe it would be better to post links instead of embedded videos.
More embedding you say?
