What a great idea to draw out what the speaker is saying. It keeps the viewer focused. This video shows how people are motivated by money to do work involving mechanical skills but are demotivated by money when it comes to work that requires creativity of the mind. It bolsters anti-IP arguments.

I can already hear how they blame this on the free market. " The poor can't afford education. We need more government intervention!"
You got completely the wrong idea.

Sweet video ^

I have no other place for this short rant, so...

Anyone ever notice how we're encouraged to use excess verbiage from middleschool to college via page requirements; yet saying what you want to say in the least amount of words possible is one of the most important aspects of clear writing? My writing is always seen as "wordy" by my professors, so I'm conveniantly blaming this on the public schooling system. Gosh I love being a libertarian.

Exactly! Words limit always drives me crazy. I can't say that my writing is labeled as "wordy" because I do everything possible to shorten a paper. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my speech... I wish I could express my thoughts more concise.

Ron Paul proposes a Cinnamon Standard:

When asked about his gold-standard proposals Paul responded, “Gold is a thing of the past. It’s a good idea, but too impractical. What, are you seriously going to carry a brick of gold in your pocket everytime you want to buy something? That’s insane. Cinammon sticks fit much easier into a wallet or purse, and they taste great.”

Congressman Charlie Rangle links a free market wage to slavery, wants a “fair wage”, wants statistical proof the minimum wage creates unemployment, and so on.
