You can create groups on there.

Who is up for creating a Ron Paul for Liberty group and beating all the leftist groups in membership? If you guys think it's a good idea, we could float it into Daily Paul as well.

Ah, why must sanity and reason ruin fun? :(

Alternatively something along the lines of "CItizens for forced contribution to their neighbors"?

Without going into too much detail, political events are basically shaped by a tiny miniscule minority of actors who have at least the passive support or indifference of the majority. There's two ways we can win libertarians vs socialists. We can target the general public, which is what mises.org does, or we can target the socialist elites.

When you target the general public, you need to be nice because you have to convert them. If you piss them off, that's bad because they'll turn on the whole ideology just because of one loudmouth. This is what Nielsio is saying.

However! When you target the socialist elite, you don't have to convert them. You can, but at the end of the day all you need is for them to shut up or resign. They don't have to like you or respect your ideology. In my experience, just beating the crap out of your opponent works to this end. People will downsize themselves around you if they consistently lose conversations. There are exceptions, like rettoper, but I've made it work many times. I and a small group of ancaps dominated the debate.org forums and shut down virtually all serious socialist opinion. Big profile socialists even publically declined to debate me in front of a (fair) wild-west panel. I can't say we converted a lot of people to libertarianism, but that doesn't happen very often anyway. We established anarcho capitalism as a serious minority ideology, and socialists as a totally incoherant pariahs.

Imo victory. If we eliminate socialism as a viable option, we necessarily move towards libertarianism. So there's two ways to skin a cat.

Do you want outside groups fudging up Paul's campaign?

Doesn't have to mention Ron Paul. It can just explain how taxes are theft and how we want to elect a president to take people's money from them.
