Headlines should be: A 70+ doctor from Texas terrifies the mainstream media so much they pretend he doesn't exist. The fact they don't even bother calling him a "crackpot" anymore means either they think he has such a substantial following now that disparaging him may be a bad business choice or they finally understood the concept of "blowback".
Anyway I think what you are seeing here today is the GOP candidate for 2012: Gingrich for president and Romney for vice president. Obama can breath a little easier now.
