I'd never heard of the Great Depression era  Home Owners' Loan Corporation before today when I came across it on the Freakonomics blog.  They have a short guest post by a couple of economists from University of Arizona and UNC-Greensboro advocating for the creation of a new HOLC.  Sounds like a terrible idea, but I'm not very familiar with it - does anyone have any resources or information about this entity?
