Hello private trackers, hello Demonoid, Piratebay etc.
(english is not my native language, sorry for grammar.)
The Establishment Media are just writing their own death-warrant... every evolution of peer-to-peer is worse (for the Establishment Media) than the prior generation of "piracy" which was "stopped" by legal harassment. Technologically, they lose. End of story. Short of implementing China-style censorship, there's no way in hell they can even tame the genie, let alone put it back in the bottle. Every measure they take to stop "piracy" through legal means results in new technological workarounds that make it easier than ever to share and download copyright material.
I could imagine sometimes in the future, sites like this will come under pressure as well - probably in the name of "fighting terrorism".
