Apparently the 'creators' are just a bunch of monopolist moochers if the government thinks their product should be subject to market forces for 'public welfare'.
Somehow they missed the idea that if these 'creators' are not paid according to their whims and fantasies they will stop producing.

I am critisizing the pro-ip argument often made that people have a right to fair compensation of their creation and if we violate IP we reduce incentives to new creations.
Somehow that argument goes out the window when government wants to make something widely available and its producers competitive. Even the levithan recognizes the inherent stupidity of IP but only on some occasions.
