I'm conducting a survey for a paper in my Poly Sci class and need random takers of my survey.  If anyone here wanted to take it it would help me out!

I'm supposed to give you a disclaimer about anonymity and such.  I won't be taking personal information anyway so i CAN guarantee none of your personal information will be published (I'll be making up names for you).

So respond and I'll send you a private message with the survey and you can send me a private message back with your responses.

(I realize this will not be a "random sample" for the content of the survey with this crowd).

Thanks!

I "started Conversations" with you guys.  I sent it as a broken up list, but it looks like it got turned into a block of text. =/

When you start a conversation, the window doesn't have rich text functionality...so everything has to be in HTML.  The best thing to do when starting a conversation is to go into a thread and open a new post.  Write what you want to say and format it properly, then use the source button at the top left to view the text in html.  Copy that and paste it into the conversation window.  Then it will show up properly.

From then on, you'll be able to use the rich text editor like here in forum threads.  (So, if you want, just go back into those conversations you started and send the message again (as you'll now see the rich text buttons available) so that it can be viewed properly.)

I'd give it a go.

Maybe we need to be friends on Mises.org?  I sent you a request.

EDIT:  I changed my profile so that all users can start a convo with me.  Should be good to go!

I guess I'll participate as well.

Just FYI, I'm not sure that polling the Mises.org forums will give you a "random" sample, heh.  Who else are you including?

Hey LogEarth, did you finish reading my OP?

(.....)

I'm using google plus, real life, and randomizing the surveys that "matter."  It's for a 205 class that I skipped for the last three years.  It is supposed to teach me the methods for completing 360, 382, 384, etc.  All of which I've already taken.

I did put a legit poll together on Gdocs, though.
