For many months now, I get nearly daily emails from the Mises forum along the lines of "great blog post...(link to cheap Viagra)".
Logging back into my user, I find that these are coming from the "My Comments" section of my user. What's going on here? How can I stop them?
I've already deleted all those comments, BTW. I didn't think that would help going forward, but I didn't want all that in my profile!
Try going to the "Edit" section when you sign in
Go To "Site Options"
Then "disable comment notifications" - I'm guessing that will at least help with the emails
or you can just turn off all email notifications completely
Yeah, that spam happens. Not sure what you can do about the spam filter not catching them. I just clear them out occasionally.
But they have such good deals...
I clear them out after applying for the deals for myself and all you guys (you'll get the bills soon).
As long as I get my hands on some of those sweet deals like "exterior doors", "dissertation ghost writers", and "Vietnam airline tickets"!
