Property tax.

How about inflation? Many people call it a tax.

An institution of aggression.

Putting that aside for the moment, what else? What is required of you as a so-called victim of property taxes to make you subject to property taxes?

What is required of you as a so-called victim of property taxes to make you subject to property taxes?

So now you're changing the question?

You must own property before it can be taxed. Then  the state chooses what to tax you on. (land, realestate, etc)

Well if you want to avoid this guy trolling you, it'd be beneficial.  This thread is clearly an attempt to trap someone through Socratic questioning.  You just gave him the answer he wants.  Don't play along with his little 'game'.

What is required of me as a victim?  For someone to commit a wrong against me, obviously.

First I said so-called victim. Anyway, to make the question direct, who receives a particular property tax bill?

Socratic questioning is only a "trap" for people who pretend to have knowledge that they do not. Its actually a useful method of discourse.

Socratic questioning is only a "trap" for people who pretend to have knowledge that they do not.

If you just blindly give the answers the questioner wants, then the latter can claim baseless victories.  This is what we see in most of Plato's dialogues, since the author could of course set it up how he liked.

Anyway, to make the question direct, who receives a particular property tax bill?

The party taxed.

Note that government property is illegitimate.

Well, it is absolutely true that you must know your subject as it relates to yor thesis very well, it is also true that giving the correct answers to someone who seeks to prove a false thesis through misleading questions, will confound that someone.

Well if the selection process is in your own imagined scenario, how on earth are we supposed to know what it is??

Is the ownership of real estate voluntary?
If you claim to own real estate, how do I verify your claim?
