So today at school I basically told my friend I was an anarcho-capitalist, which he thought was weird. He seems to be the kind of person who thinks we need regulations and the war on drugs. He did agree to read an email I'm going to send to him.

How do you think I should sell anarcho-capitalist philosophy to him? What specific things should I mention?

I would use the "men arent angels" argument myself. Ask him why we need government. When he says "people do bad things" ask him why he wants those people to be in charge. When he says he wants good people in charge, ask him about the process for selecting those good people.

I've always found it to be a bit rediculous when people advocate government on the grounds that "men aren't angels" when these non-angel men are running the government that they advocate.

I emailed him telling him to just ask me questions about government in general.

I'll post any questions I have trouble with.
