Wheylous!
Oh yeah, shook hands with him today and spoke with him about Medicare and Social Security (unfortunately he only wants to cut them back and give more power to the states :\ ).
Still, I got to network with a lot of libertarians!
Well, NYC on Saturday!
Niiice - libertarians in the wild.
What was the average age? Were there lots of young people or was it older types?
I was gonna say something witty but I couldn't think of anything, so good for you anyway.
Coooooooooooool.
Mostly college students.
It was at some bar in DC. There was a scattering of older people, but mostly just people linked to the campaign. I talked strategy with the Maryland Libertarian Party organizer (president?) as well.
Did you get any good pictures?

You can't just leave it at that! What are their strategies? Were they interested in what you had to say? For that matter...what did you say?
I wouldn't shake Gary Johnson's hand, but that's just me.
The keyboard is mightier than the gun.

Interesting meeting!
Schools are labour camps.
Did you do the Misean handshake with him?
Nice. Are you a college student as well?
I did get good pictures.
Ron Paul was not there.
I was not aware of the Mises handshake - does it involve exploitation?
I am a college student.
As to strategy, the Libertarian party guy was talking about starting up some organization to have libertarians testify at different levels of government to be able to take more direct action to block certain projects. For example, he said that he was able to get a few people to testify against some company which had some infrastructure project they wanted to build and were asking for a "tax break subsidy" and they were able to stop it. I'm not a big fan of not cutting taxes, though, so I had some reservations.
We also discussed the efficiency of giving out signs and fliers, etc. Nothing overly useful, but small bits of knowledge.
I would appreciate it if you could provide links to some of these pictures.
I'll add those in to the pictures of me with Kokesh, Woods, and Murphy that I will post soon!
Unfortunately, I think I will blur my face, which deprives you of the privilege of seeing Wheylous in his whole glory, but that's life.

Good for you for having "reservations" but next time you should congragulate the "party guy" for suceesfully working against tax cuts. If only we had a few more like him, we really could do away with Obama or Romney.
When you put it like that, I really should have made a bigger deal out of it.
