Nothing.  The union movement has always been based upon intimidation, violence and corruption.  How else would it work?  No union I have ever heard of was truely concerned about satisfying customer which is the primary focus of business.  The reality is that outside of government protected business the extra costs and bureaucracy have wiped out unionism from the more competitive sectors.
