I've already moved over two of John James's big hits:

http://libertyhq.freeforums.org/guides-and-knowledge-for-your-intellectual-journey-t14.html

http://libertyhq.freeforums.org/one-book-for-capitalism-t13.html

I've also started another discussion on the Newtown disaster linking to a DailyPaul post in regard to something possibly fishy going on:

http://libertyhq.freeforums.org/something-fishy-in-the-netown-story-t15.html

And a discussion on how to structure the Guided Study to Economics:

http://libertyhq.freeforums.org/guided-study-of-economics-t17.html

I'd encourage people to head over there. There's some good discussion going on even if there's only 4 active members.

180!! :D

Get 'em while they're hot! I encourage everyone to sign up! Even you lurkers out there!

Even if you post just a few posts a week, input is very much appreciated. Heck, if we had 20 low-count posters who only did 3 posts per week, that's an extra 60 posts to sharpen our teeth on!

Now imagine if we got 300 lurkers doing a few posts here and there!

I don't know. I just joined the voluntaryism boards. I'd prefer one board for all this instead of splintering it up.

maybe I'm  just a pawn of brand loyalty to the Autolykos Corp

I've joined both forums(Auto and LibertyHQ) but when do we quit Mises cold turkey? Or do we wait for it to be stripped from our lives i.e. shutdown?

One day you'll wake up and realized someone at the institute actually pushed the "little red button" that ends everything and you have no other choice but to be independent from them.  Then you just become dependent on another forum.  That's what'll happen.

Vanitas - what user did you register?

As to quitting Mises, I don't know. I'm trying to post as much as I can over at LibertyHQ so that when we do have to switch the new forum will not be empty.

I find that forum cumbersome and awkward to use. The user name must not contain any spaces. Pictures that you post appear as a thumbnail and you can't post more than one picture at a time. Hopefully the flaws will be fixed sometimes soon.

I don't have access to the code, so I would have to try to find some workaround for the moment. I'll look into it. Thanks.

Actually, I figured out your problem - the URL you are using for the images is itself a thumbnail that ImageShack creates. I don't know why you're using that URL instead of the address of the actual image. If you can't resolve the issue, try using Imgur: http://imgur.com/

I fixed your posts in the Freedom Images post.

If you made the default view when you click on "Forums" be like Active Topics here and I'd be a lot more interested. I'm not gonna want to post in Philosophy, for example, knowing most people won't read it unless they go there specifically. Maybe when the forum is 20x larger subdividing the topic forums would start to make sense, but not now.

AJ - You have to click on "View active topics" to see the active topics. I am not sure I can make it appear on the main page. I certainly ecourage everyone to use the "Active topics" option.

As to username length - I added that capability ;) I also added the ability to use spaces (as per AlGore's request).
