You're better off reading von Mises.
They're both good. There's no reason to not read Hayek. He's a great economist. As with everything, you don't have to accept everything as the word of god if it's not right. Mises is also a great economist. Why bother putting oneself into the Hayek vs. Mises dichotomy? Hayek is great for Trade Cycle Theory and Monetary Policy. Mises is great for Anti-Socialism, Deductive Economics, the beginnings of Trade Cycle Theory, source of money, etc.
