Aristophanes:What does he expect me to respond to? his inanities?
I invite you to lay out what you see as my "inanities".

It's a joke, Auto.
Could've fooled me. And I'm not a mind-reader.
Both of those things are unfortunate.
No one's a mind-reader. But I don't see how it could be patently obvious to anyone (let alone me) that you were joking in that post.
I thought it was obvious because most people around here wouldn't normally respond so aggressively to something that was so irrelevant. It wasn't a big deal and therefore I thought that it would be clear that this was a joke.
Anyway, I realize how hard it can be to interpret sarcasm over text, so I'm sorry for any trouble caused by the comment
You should work on the mind-reader thing though, it would be quite a marketable skill
Oh... Also, for whatever it's worth I thought that Malachi's signature was part of his post.
So what was ultimately decided in this thread "Was Strauss right?"?

[Debate Tip #83: Always refer to one's opponent as a "kid" so as to simultaneously elevate oneself above the opposition in the eyes of onlookers and infuriate him to the point of incoherence.]
The Anarch is to the Anarchist what the Monarch is to the Monarchist. -Ernst Jünger
oh, geez, I didn't even have to read the manual.

Aristophanes, leave the little goat alone.

No worries then. I accept your apology.

Heh, I'll see what I can do.
Still waiting for you to lay out what you see as my "inanities", Aristophanes.
