I need help finding an essay, article, or a book part that presents a ridiculous parody of a society bent on eliminating "inequalities". People had chips embedded in their brains that punished them for thinking too deeply about anything by erasing their short term memory. I think there was a couple in it watching TV and commenting... Could have been Hazlitt... Probably written a while ago. (My chip seems to be working ;))

Anyone has a link?
