There should be a bush and with that Hitler photo if it the analogy is to have any meaning at all. On second thought, make it a Regan!
The problem is that most of them were most likely made by mindless neocons, which plays right into the trap of the "race card" accusations.

This thread is AWESOME!
On a lighter note, here's a little something I've been working on. I'm nearly done:

Conza88:What you got?
trulib:Does anyone have a copy of the New Yorker cartoon described by Rothbard here? Many years ago, the New Yorker magazine, in the days when its cartoons were still funny, published a cartoon of a group of counterfeiters looking eagerly at their printing press as the first $10 bill came rolling off the press. "Boy," said one of the team, "retail spending in the neighborhood is sure in for a shot in the arm." (source)

I'll keep trying.
By request of the OP Conza, we're in the process of merging the off-topic stock market posts into a new thread.

I saw the original picture years ago, and indeed it had a Bush pic next to Hitler. The above version was photoshopped and cropped. Originally the poster was publicly hanged on a tram stop in Finland, as you can see here (lol).
They only make it worse!
^ Well they aren't. And we've gotta get health care now to millions of americans who might not have the right cancer treatment it doesn't matter how much it costs! Also Africa and South America do not exist. Except for Chavez, cus he's a dictator ha ha.
I got some socialist complaints for this one.
Both images were made by a fellow comrade.
I just finished this. I taught myself a lot of Latin in the process:
From Facebook:
"When the King is far the people are happy." Chinese proverb
For Alexander Zinoviev and the free market there is a shared delight:
"Where there are problems there is life."

care to explain/translate it in some more detail
Literature of the late Middle Ages were often illustrated with drawings in this fashion. The top of this one explains that this is a tree born in the Austrian philosophic garden. It is rooted in [purposeful] human action, logic, and private property. One half of the tree grows up into the main branches of the sciences of human action. The other half displays Austrian methodology. The banner apprises the traveler that he may enter and stroll through Mises's philosophic garden and that he may promenade in the ethical garden of Rothbard. The towering figures, Aristotle and Aquinas, are eulogized and are given residency in the estate.
i took two years of latin and most of those words are beyond what I learned. that is unbelievably cool. it looks like it was made three hundred years ago or something. i think it would look so awesome as a book cover. what is the significance of the setup of "Aristotle's Philosophic Building/Structure"?
Okay, that Stormtrooper one = Badaaaass.

It's so obvious, how could everyone not see it. I knew the Military Industrial Complex and the Banks would feature heavily on a list like this, but wow.
isn't that image implying that there are certain regulations that can fix everything?
Maybe it's not as clear as I thought. I haven't seen the movie, I guess that plays some kind of role.. thought it was on dailyreckoning..
04/17/10 Stockholm, Sweden – Unable to find a correct approach to financial regulation… because for regulation there rarely is… Congress is looking to regulate simply for the sake of doing something.
Unfortunately, combining additional, new regulation with even less strategic thinking is unlikely to diffuse the next financial meltdown.

Yes, because the computers in the 16th century made the iPad look like a relic. I had to post this for sarcasm. I wonder what the creator of this image was thinking while making it.
Man that last image is really amazing. It's really ironic, I wonder if people in the 16th century were able to make digital images and post them on the interwebz?

What; hanging a painting on the street corner isn't good enough for you?
