Most thoughtful and  interesting discussion, thanks to all of you!

And a suggestion: many of these podcasts can siand on their own legs and may well move around away from the milieu in which they were originated. Particularly whon involving guest speakers it may be appropriate to spend a minute or two introducing the speaker & topic (the who, why, when (important, since the paritcular podcast could live well past contemporary expectations) and what. And just as important, provide links to the speaker and to the originator of the podcast. May seem repetitive, but if the podcast wanders off, the folks who find it should be able to put it in some context.
