Does anyone know where AJP Taylor wrote/said that Hitler was "just another German statesman"? I can only find references to such a statement, but nowhere the original text.

The exact quote is this:

... Hitler (like every other German statesman) intended Germany to become the dominant Power in Europe.

The work is The Origins of Second World War, page 131 in the 1984 Hamish-Hamilton edition.

Together we go unsung... together we go down with our people

Thanks. Is it appropriate then that people put it in quotations marks? It is not an exact quote.
