I'm looking for a response to this paper ("In Defense of Fiduciary Media -- or, We Are Not Devo(lutionists), We Are Misesians!") by George Selgin & Lawrence White.

Has Walter Block, Hans-Hermann Hoppe, or someone else rebutted their argument that Fractional Reserve Banking is not fraudulent?

"Against Fiduciary Media" by Hoppe.  Part 1, ch 7 in:

mises.org/books/economicsethics.pdf

"Free banking and the Free bankers" by Hulsmann

mises.org/journals/rae/pdf/RAE9_1_1.pdf

Both address that paper by Selgin and White, among other works.

Rothbard wrote a paper "The Myth of Free Bsnking in Scotland" in response to White's book. It's not exactly what your looking for but he does criticize free banking and FRB.

The Rothbard paper was written before ours, and is answered in the 2nd, 1996 edition of White's  Free Banking in Britain.  It is repeatedly mentioned on this forum by persons without reference to White's rebuttal, depite my having repeatedly pointed the latter out.  As White show's, Rothbard's critique is wrong in many respects, including every crucial one.

Whitre's book is available online on the IEA site.
