But here is the critical strategic lesson for the "Ron Paul nation." If they want to make things tip in their favor sooner rather than later, they need to decide now -- and let it be widely known -- that they will vote for Ron Paul whether or not he is on the ballot (by writing him in if necessary), and not for the Republican, whoever else he may be.
I will vote for Ron Paul and Ron Paul only, and I will write his name in if necessary.

Same here. I'm also amazed by how quickly some of the Democrats I know are opening up to his message. All it takes is economic education. Astounding, really.

It seems most voters never get any serious, clear education, especially about economics, so it might not take much to convince them.

Yes, they've been brainwashed by the (Keynesian) schooling system and the mass media that economics is too complex and that they better defer to the "experts". The path of revelation about Ron Paul inevitably leads through: (1) discovering that not only is economics easy to understand but it is also ESSENTIAL for supporting any socio-political position, and (2) understanding economics (i.e. austrian).

Once someone does (1) and (2) he becomes a Ron Paul supporter, regardless of their previous political background. This process increases his support base like a ratchet -- only going up, and never down.

I got this image of Ron Paul on a podium being ratcheted up inexorably through the cloud of mainstream political fluffiness, to emerge finally with the cloud powerless to contain him since he is made of solid.
