  • Abortion Problem

I believe in the right of abortion. It is woman's body and she does it as she wishes. However, either fetus or a more grown baby ( still inside the womb ), aren't they different bodies? If yes, doesn't that make the abortion, the intervention of the woman in other bodies without consent?...

  • Re: Morality vs. legality of child neglect

Roderick Long wrote an excellent article on this subject. He concluded that A woman who voluntarily bears a child but later changes her mind does not have the right simply to abandon her child, but must care for it until she can arrange for a substitute caretaker. Here is the link to the article which...

  • Is the human fetus a parasite according to science?

this is what i saw on yahoo: THIS IS SCIENCE: FETUS IS NOT A BABY (GOOGLE THE HUMAN DEVELOPMENT CHART), but a parasite because the classification of the biological relationship that is based on the behavior one organism (fetus) and how it relates to the woman's body: as a zygote, it invaded the woman's...

Check out the documentary Demographic Winter . It features the Nobel Prize-winning Chicago economist Gary Becker , inter alii . • Are you pro-death or anti-choice?

I frequently encounter the assumption that libertarians, being broadly opposed to government involvment in most everything, must support abortion "rights." Just as frequently, I am appalled by it. The "right" to terminate a fetus implies that the fetus is the property of the mother...

  • ABORTION: DOES IT VIOLATE THE NON-AGGRESSION AXIOM??

I saw a thread recently titled "Murray Rothbard On Abortion." Last year I read an article by Walter Block that was in the Appalachian Journal of Law found here . My response to this article is below. Where would my position be incorrect from a libertarian or Austrian standpoint? "I certainly...

  • Re: Abortion

[quote user="a_goedker"]These two statements contradict each other. If there is no proof that murder is morally wrong, than there is no proof that property ownership is a right. Murder is wrong because it is theft of one's property, themselves. If we dont see any thing wrong with murder...
