  • ECONOMICS TEACHER

My economics teacher is a whole sale idiot. We've gotten into several little scuffles over the course of class and I think it's fair to say that there is a mutual hatred between the two of us. I knew I was in for a doozy when on the first day he said that he'd earned his masters in economics...

  • Re: Get a hold of this debate???

@Spideynw : You say “otherwise they know where everyone is coming from.”. But what’s the problem? Are you afraid of public debates? I think that if Drew Brando wants some arguments “against the people like me”, i think the best thing is a REAL PUBLIC debate, here and now...

  • Re: What would austrian economists choose

It doesn't promote anarchy per se; it's a bit more complex. In Liberalism, Mises himself wrote: We call the social apparatus of compulsion and coercion that induces people to abide by the rules of life in society, the state; the rules according to which the state proceeds, law; and the organs...

  • Re: Autodidact: The Unnecessary Leper

I'm not certain that I am entering into this intercourse properly, but here goes: Just joined the Forum. Have considered myself to be libertarian for years. I'm impressed at the level of knowledge that I see here. But, I fear that anything that I might post will be summarily dismissed because...

  • Re: 5 Reasons Not to Vote

Mises even served as an economic advisor to the Austrian government!
