  • Peter Schiff: I'm in the 1%. Let's Talk

I have no idea why I'm only hearing of this now, but it seems like I've come across this at least 3 times today (even though this was happening almost a month ago). But this is precisely what I was talking about in my thread This is what you can do with OccupyWallStreet ... TomWoods.com : This...

  • New "percent-er" group: The 53%

I'm wondering if this will take away from the (possible) collective influence of the OWS movement (as I talked about here ) by pitting the people against themselves (as the elites usually manage to do) or if it will help add to it by lighting a fire under more people. the53.tumblr.com/ We Are The...

  • This is what you can do with OccupyWallStreet

Listen to the way he is able to educate them using tidbits of their own language. This is exactly what is needed. Obviously this guy is a gifted speaker, but if we can at least get someone who knows what they're talking about to announce these things at every occupywallst rally, this hero-less movement...

  • Occupy Wall Street group vs. John Lewis

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QZlp3eGMNI Anyone else reminded of Murray Rothbard's "Egalitarianism as a Revolt Against Human Nature"?

  • Democracy in action at #Occupywallstreet?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFVR9Nv43J4 (if the embed doesn't show up) One of those kids follows the Rosseauian line to a T and doesn't falter when asked about using force to make people free. It looks to me as if are having a tough time building much of a consensus. People unite under a cause...

  • Steve Jobs: "One Percenter"

The one percenters are not popular these days. Steve Jobs started from the bottom quartile of wealth and made into the one percent club. He lived the supposedly dead American Dream. Apple began in a garage. It was started by two broke college dropouts. There was once a time in America when men like Jobs...

  • Herman Cain Tells Occupy Wall Street Protesters to 'Blame Yourself'

Well whattya know... A pair of Republican presidential candidates had some harsh words for the protesters who've been hectoring Wall Street for the past three weeks: Cut out the "class warfare" and "blame yourself" for being poor and jobless. Speaking to the Wall Street Journal...

  • OccupyWallStreet.org's "Demands"

I'm normally a firm advocate of civility, but this particular manifesto's level of economic ignorance is so stunning I feel compelled to make an exception. Sweet mother of Ahura Mazda , this stuff is so bad it makes the drivel spouted by the (NZ, but it's the same in the US anyway) National...
