  • Why do some Austrians claim to be Anti-State?

Some Austrian Economists claim to be anti-state; however, they support a minimal role of government including police, courts, and national defense. How is this anti-state, if they support the state in a limited role? I'd very much like someone to clear up this confusion I've had. Thanks.

  • National flags and the state.

I've noticed a number of libertarians refuse to salute or respect the U.S. flag for the reason that it was created by a government. what do you think of this? is saluting, respecting or in any way placing importance on national flags of any country actually respecting a state symbol. do flags represent...

  • Anarcho-Capitalism?

So an anarcho-cap friend of mine was telling me that there would be several groups within a society that meet together to propose new ideas for rules and regulations on what society does, but he told me that the citizens would vote on each and every one of these rules and regulations. If this is true...
