  • Re: Increasing money supply = inflation?

    Inflation is not CAUSED by an increase in the money supply. That is a common misconception. The truth is this: Inflation IS an increase in the money supply. (They are synonymous, not a cause & effect relationship.) It CAUSES an increase of PRICES by reducing the VALUE of the overall money supply.
