• Re: Has the Tea Party movement been hjacked by the neoconservatives?

Neoconservatives are pushing Sarah Palin as the voice of the tea parties and protests. Oh ... my God! Why don't you stop neocons, this is frightening? Anyway, why is Ron Paul still in Republican party? Is this two party system here to stay forever? Libertarians, make your stand, abandon republican party and it's politics ... now!
On the contrary, I’ve heard that 60% of Isreal (and 80% of Jerusalem) is owned by the Vatican.
I hope this was a joke. Can anyone tell me why does USA give away so much money to Israel every year? I know that they have a great lobby but why there is no protest for that in USA? Tea Party anyone? Why is so

  • Re: How did the USSR and Eastern Europe go from collectivism to private property?
Politicians from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania went to conferences in the U.S. after the Soviet break, one of which Rothbard set up.
Interesting, these countries are practically bankrupted now.
I'd suggest that some people are naturally unfit to believe in freedom and property rights, especially those who are from a mystical and semi-barbaric culture like the Slavs.
Take it easy with that racism. I'm a Slav and I don't consider myself to be "semi-barbaric". Not all

I lived in some sort of socialism in former Yugoslavia. Concept of private property was allways here, it is not something we did not know about. You could own small bussiness up to 8 employees, no problem. You could farm land and sell your products on market and you could own land up to 100 dunums (1 dunum = 1.000 m²). Apartments were property
There is uncertainty in all economic activity.
Yes, but that is not speculation on which you can make some extra profit. That is just uncertainty as you called it. But, I make difference between this kind of "speculation" and "gambling type speculation" like when you invest on stock
