• Re: Looking for help to refine a poster that decribes the essential points of the ATBC

Make the C in "Created," the T in "The" (in #1) and the B in "Begins" (in #2) lowercase occured --> occurred (in #3) #3 seems weak from the standpoint of a skeptic; people would naturally ask, "Why does more money result in malinvestment?" GOVERNEMNT --> GOVERNMENT SEPERATION --> SEPARATION PAYED -->
You can assume a monopoly in every market and as long as we're using the word "monopoly" in the mainstream neoclassical sense of the word, the market would still be superior to government because there would be exchange in the markets for capital goods and original factors, and as such monetary calculation
The existence of a state demonstrates that it is possible for free market conditions to lead to monopoly conditions. Since free competition is economically efficient and monopoly is economically inefficient, doesn't the emergence of a state prove that there are market failures after all?
In the first

  • Re: Shouldn't anarchists make their own dictionary?

I don't know why this is being ignored. It seems our #1 priority, given our entire language is based around statist superstitions. Language is the most powerful weapon we have, and we're letting the statists control the game entirely, right down to words like "anarcho-capitalist." I wrote much more about this here . • Re: The community section needs to be "easier" and "more visible"

Seconded. Rather than having a "Community" link on the front page, why not replace it with "Forums" as is common practice? The more general community content could then be visible from there. I read this site for months before I had any idea there were forums.

  • Re: Why communism will work, and capitalism won’t.

Markus, you really need to define your terms. What is communism? Is a capitalist any different from an entrepreneur? Until you define your terms you can't know if all you wrote means something or is just so much rhetorical meringue whipped up out of fudged definitions.
Altruism and socialism are almost homonyms.[/quote

The Fed pays banks a small sum, in effect, not to lend .

I leave this thread overnight and...wow. I'll take this to mean we're on the right track with the monopoly concept. We've now seen the full irrationality of the minarchist position laid bare: "Human nature is evil and corrupt, so therefore we need a powerful government and/or army (commanded by humans) to protect us from human nature
